3 worked examples using ICE (Initial-Change-Equilibrium) tables. Example 1: 'H₂(g) + I₂(g) ⇌ 2HI(g), Kc = 50. Start with [H₂]₀=1.0, [I₂]₀=1.0, [HI]₀=0.' ICE table: I: 1.0, 1.0, 0. C: -x, -x, +2x. E: 1-x, 1-x, 2x. Kc = (2x)²/((1-x)(1-x)) = 4x²/(1-x)² = 50. Take square root: 2x/(1-x) = 7.07. 2x = 7.07
