5 steps: (1) Rhetorical analysis = examining HOW a text persuades, not WHETHER it's correct. You analyze the STRATEGY, not the topic. (2) Key questions: WHO is the author? WHO is the audience? WHAT is the purpose? WHAT context surrounds it? (3) Analyze HOW the author achieves their purpose: word cho
