You've heard inquiry works. This is where you learn to do it.
The only inquiry course that is, itself, an inquiry. Over seven weeks you're put through inquiry as a learner, taught exactly how it's built, and coached while you run it with your own students — until it's simply how you teach.
7 weeks · Blended · Built for IB & non-IB schools · Grounded in the research
Why most PD changes nothing
A workshop can't teach you to make students think.
The research is blunt: after two to three years of typical professional development, only about 3 teachers in 10 meaningfully improve. One-shot workshops don't change practice — practice changes in classrooms, over time, with coaching. And inquiry is the hardest thing to learn from a lecture, because a lecture about inquiry contradicts itself.
The big idea
So we built the opposite of a workshop.
You don't learn about inquiry. You're put inside one — for seven weeks. Every idea is something you discover before we name it.
Step 1
Experience it
Step 2
Name the move
Step 3
Try it with your students
Step 4
Bring the evidence
Step 5
Refine it with your coach
That loop — inquiry's own cycle — runs every single week. It's why this sticks when other PD evaporates.
What you'll be able to do
Concrete skills — with evidence to prove them.
Each is a stackable microcredential — earned by demonstrating mastery, not by attendance.
How it works
One course. A shared core. Two tracks.
Become the Student
A 4-hour immersion where you are taught inquiry as a learner — then we pull back the curtain and show you exactly how it was done to you.
The shared inquiry core
Six modules — what inquiry is, worthy questions, the concept dimension, the cycle & differentiation, assessment for transfer, and inquiry in the age of AI. Each week: experience it, learn it, run it with your students, bring back the evidence.
Teach it for real
Practitioners design, teach, and reflect on a real inquiry unit. Leaders coach a colleague and design a rollout. Peer-critiqued, coach-reviewed, certified.
Track A
Practitioner
Classroom teachers, K–12, any subject
Complete the shared core, then design and teach a real inquiry unit in your own classroom.
Track B
Leadership
Coaches, coordinators, heads of department, leaders
Everything in the core, plus coaching skills, change leadership, and building an inquiry culture — so you can grow it in others.
Everyone shares the inquiry core. Finish one track and you can stack into the other.

Why it works
Practical — and honest about the evidence.
This program is built on what the research says actually changes teaching: sustained, job-embedded, collaborative, modeled, and coached professional learning. And we're honest about inquiry itself — it works powerfully when it's guided, and we teach the guided version, with the real numbers. No inflated claims. That honesty is why skeptical veterans and heads of school trust it.
Inquiry is not less teaching — it is more intentional teaching. Students do the intellectual heavy lifting; teachers do the architectural heavy lifting.
A certificate you earn, not attend
You graduate with a taught inquiry unit, a portfolio of student evidence, a certificate, and stackable microcredentials — competency-based, shareable, and documented as ≈30 hours of professional learning your school can log toward its own growth records.
Issued by us, an independent professional-learning provider. Not affiliated with or endorsed by the IB, CIS, WASC, or NEASC.
Apply
Your students are one design away from doing the thinking themselves.
Apply for the next cohort — it takes 30 seconds and starts a conversation, no commitment.
Questions
Good to know
How much time does it really take?
About 4 hours a week for 7 weeks, plus the capstone. Most of it is your actual teaching — the classroom tasks use lessons you already plan.
Does it fit my curriculum / the IB?
Yes. It maps onto PYP / MYP / DP directly and works for British, American, Cambridge, and national curricula. The moves are framework-agnostic.
Is it live or self-paced?
Blended: one 4-hour live onboarding, self-paced modules, and a short weekly live studio. An async-with-support option is available for time-zone-spread staff.
What do I walk away with?
A taught inquiry unit, a portfolio of student evidence, a certificate, competency microcredentials, and a way of teaching you will use for the rest of your career.
Is the certificate accredited?
The certificate and microcredentials are issued by us, an independent professional-learning provider. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the IB, CIS, WASC, or NEASC — but this is the kind of sustained, evidenced professional learning schools value, and yours decides how to recognize it.
