Hello, I'm Sherry from Pearson UWC (Victoria, Canada). I teach History and Global Politics. While I've used AI mainly to help with ideas in lesson planning, I've found myself resistant to using AI for marking or writing reports. The comments felt fake and not very helpful. To be fair, the attempt at marking was almost 2 years ago, so I'm sure things have improved a lot. In terms of the politics, I am deeply concerned about the corporate race to develop AGI and the reluctance (or even corruption) of governments to check their reckless power.
