Purpose

How It Works
- Ask short-answer question (15 sec) - "What year was the Battle of Hastings?"
- Class responds in unison (5 sec) - Everyone calls out answer together: "1066!"
- Confirm and continue (10 sec) - Acknowledge correct answer; move to next question
What to Say
Opening: "Choral response time! I ask, you all answer together—loudly! What's the chemical symbol for water?" During: "Together on three: One, two, three!" [Class: "H2O!"] Closing: "Perfect! Your synchronized answers show everyone's tracking these facts."
Why It Works
Choral response creates accountability (everyone must participate), provides immediate feedback on factual knowledge, and energizes the room through collective vocalization.
